NYWC Welcomes New Coaches

Richie Cerebe: I’ve been involved in the sport of wrestling for over 20 years. I am a PIAA state medalist, a two time qualifier, and a PA freestyle state champion. After high school, I had the privilege of wrestling for Liberty University where I became an all-American.I began my coaching career at Conwell Egan high school with Chucky Connor, followed by a year at Germantown Academy, where I had the privilege of coaching my younger brother. The last 5 years have been spent at Neshaminy High School as an assistant coach. I also coach at MPR endurance, where my brother and I run the novice wrestling program! I’m looking forward to the opportunity to help Neshaminy’s youth club grow and succeed!

Sam Cerebe: My name is Sam Cerebe, I began wrestling full time in middle school, and eventually attended Germantown Academy where I became a 2x PA state placer and a 2x Prep National qualifier. I also placed at the Prep Slam in Georgia, placed at freestyle/greco states and wrestled at Fargo.I attended Virginia Tech, while interning with the strength and conditioning coaches for their division 1 football team. I am about to enter my third year of coaching at Neshaminy High School, while also coaching MPR’s novice club. I am looking forward to giving back to the sport that has opened many doors and has provided a positive impact in my life!
